This Victorian period antique Japanese lidded vase stands 31 cm tall. It takes the form of an oriental decorative ceramic urn with a faceted hexagonal body, surmounted by a domed cover finished with a pointed finial. The porcelain vessel displays an overglaze enamel finish decorated with hand-painted floral motifs of large orange blossoms and delicate green foliage set against a white background. Designed in a traditional Japanese style with an English Country House aesthetic, the urn works well as a standalone decorative object on a sideboard top.
