19th Century French Mahogany Display Cabinet

A very decorative late 19th century French mahogany dome top & ormolu mounted display cabinet, with a large glazed, lockable door.

This piece has a very ornate central mount to the top with a scroll acanthus bracket with an acorn finial and foliage & ribbon design. Either side of the central mount are two finials with round marble ball decoration.

The side panels are glazed & the glass has an ormolu frame around it.

At the base there is a mahogany lined drawer with ormolu cornucopia decoration and ormolu handles and the feet are turned and on castors.

The interior consists of 3 glass shelves and the back is covered in a pale blue damask fabric but could be changed by the purchaser quite easily.

The top and back boards are oak.

LED lights can be fitted as I have shown here.
