This is a Georgian, English, double series opaque twist wine glass dating from the second half of the 18th century, c1765.

The stem ends in a conical foot which measures 7.1 cm (2.8 inches) in diameter. The glass is 16.3 cm (5.5 inches) in height. There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.
