Martin Murray Antiques has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
The shelves are scalloped and the slim glazing bars give a lightness to the piece.
There have been some restorations to the piece over time, the plinth and waist moulding are later replacements, and the pediment has had some restoration. the piece has acquired a good patina and the glass appears to be all original. This is a rare cabinet of desirable form and size.
