Brief Description:

This is an exquisite pair of original, 19th-century Italian Majolica Snake Bottle Vases.

Hand-painted in beautiful polychrome colours of yellows, blues, browns and manganese.

Each fabulous piece is adorned with a large snake, together with a number of portrait profiles depicting famous faces from the Renaissance period.

The rest of the intricate artwork is made up of foliage and geometric patterns.
