This is an Antique Goerge III Flame Mahogany Bowfront Linen Press c1790-1810. It is raised on swept feet with a shaped front frieze and two short over two long drawer that are graduated. It retains its original handles, locks and escutcheons. The inlay acroos the top of the frieze is boxwood either side of ebony stringing. The Main upper linen press has central oval panels with flame maohgany surrounded by kingwood and boxwood venner and quadrant corners of curl mahogany. This is cross banded with curl mahogany. The upper cornice is very imposing with giant gadrooning which is stunning. There are four linen slides and it comes into three pieces, the chest of drawers, linen press central section and the upper cornice.
