This unusual, quirky and pretty small piece of furniture is a set of early 19th C mahogany drawers with original small brass knob handles, which are very sweet, on a later stand made of period mahogany. It has boxwood stringing around the edge of the top.
 
It is an interesting piece that was obviously made for a specific purpose.
 
It stands 27'' high
 
25'' wide
 
10'' deep.
