Attractive English Oak Astragal Glazed Grandmother or Small Grandfather Longcase Clock with a Top Quality German Peerless 8 Day Triple Tune Movement with Their Embee Gongs.

To me a small English Oak case in the 18th style with an astragal glazed trunk door fitted with the Peerless Ember combination is about the best you can get in this style of clock. Particular with the triple tune version.

Height 73.75in or 187.5cm

The movement has been Checked, Serviced & Tested to be in Good & Full antique Working Order.

The Chimes are Mellow & Subtle and There is the choice of Westminster, Whittington or St. Michael Tunes on Each Quarter of Increasing Length. Additionally on the O'clock it Strikes the Number of Hours.

Both Chime/Silent and Strike/Silent Levers.
