Fritz Heckert Jodhpur Range Enamelled Champagne Coupe

This is a Franz Reuleaux designed enamelled and gilded glass champagne coupe for the Fritz Heckert glass house in Petersdorf, Germany and dating from the early 20th century, c1910. The glass shows Islamic influence and is from the Jodhpur range.
 
The glass is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot consistent with some 100+ years of use.
 
The glass has a shallow cup-shaped bowl measuring 10 cm (4 inches) in diameter at the bowl rim. The glass has been blown in clear glass and then enamelled and gilded. The rim of the bowl is gilded above a band of blue enamel enhanced by gilded trailing foliage. The bulk of the bowl is gilded with a band of five-petal flower heads within diamond-shaped backgrounds of two alternating, different shades of green enamel, the gaps being enamelled in white and amethyst.
