A smaller proportioned French mantel clock. A white marble case with gilt ormolu mounts. Swags to the base panel and two gilded torches to the pediment. A convex enamel dial with chased floral decorations and ornate gilt hands. A cast gilt dial bezel surround with convex bevelled glass. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell. Circa 1900.
