A very good quality French brass antique mantel clock from the late 19th century, with applied scrolling leaf design to the front and sides, and reeded columns to the front standing on decorative feet. The clock has four finials to the top with floral motifs to the dome and acanthus leaf and acorn finial.
The decorative dial has white enamel Roman numerals with a French eight day duration movement with outside count wheel which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.
The back plate is stamped with the makers names –

The brass case has been cleaned and lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The movement has been cleaned and serviced and comes with a 12 month guarantee.
