Typically feature a square case or ball feet, usually with a single hour hand , and a large bell surmounted by a finial with ornate fretwork. This particular one may have later additions. In working order with key. we do suggest that any purchaser has it serviced and its currently stored in Haywards Heath.

James Gray was a clockmaker to the King, he was a second generation Clockmaker and took over his Fathers position of Clockmaker to King George III in Scotland in 1806. He is known to have worked in Parliament Square, High Street & South Bridge. Apprenticed to his Father, he served some years in London under the eye of eminent makers.
