Masons Antiques has dated this Mahogany Bracket Mantel Clock to the 1890s.
It has quarter brass fretwork to the lower half of the dial and silk backed brass vents to the sides, finishing on a shaped plinth and standing on ogee, brass feet and with a brass carrying handle to the top.

The 7" convex silver dial has black, engraved Roman numerals and outside minute track with black hands. It is encased by a convex glass and cast brass bezel.
The 8 day movement strikes the quarters with a "Ting-Tang" double strike and the number of hours on the hour. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered, 9th generation horologist and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
A really beautiful, quality clock that would grace any home.
