Blue Chinoiserie Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

A small deep blue chinoiserie decorated mantel clock, in the style of an English bracket clock dating to around 1920. It has a caddy top with brass corner finials and an embossed carrying handle. The dial has a convex glass and a silvered chapter ring with a matching decorated dial , the detail depicts Chinese scenes, although the case is of English make and decoration. It has an 8 day French lever platform movement
