IT DATES FROM AROUND 1680 AND IS TOTALLY ORIGINAL AND CORRECT INCLUDING THE MYTHICAL BEASTS/FISH? ON THE FRONT
 
THIS CARVING IS TYPICAL OF THE AREA ABOVE ( SEE EXAMPLES IN V. CHINNERY TRADITIONS OF OAK).

THE PATINATION IS RICH AND WARM
