Pair of French Walnut Bedside Cabinets with Marble Tops C.1880

Description

A pair of French walnut bedside cabinets dating from circa 1880. Each cabinet features a moulded breccia marble top above a single drawer and cupboard door, veneered in a quartered diamond pattern. Raised on slender cabriole legs with carved details at the knees and scrolled feet. The interiors are fitted with cream enamelled compartments, typical of late 19th-century nightstands. Original brass knob handles and working locks complete the design.
