Description

Very smart Art Deco bow front vitrine or display cabinet c.1930. Useful narrow dimensions, just 29" wide. Single door bow fronted cabinet with bevelled glass to the door and sides and fitted inside with two plate glass shelves (depth 15") and a green moire lining fabric. Over a two door blind door cupboard in the base with a single shelf inside. Superbly figured burr elm veneers across the front and sides. Oval marquetry panels of neoclassical design inlaid on the lower doors. Within mahogany inlaid borders which are repeated on the cabinet sides. Moulded detail to the cornice, a simple plinth veneered to match and raised on turned and tapering feet front and rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
