Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the Victorian era.

These 200 minerals all are numbered and complete with descriptive labels for the Victorian professional mineral suppliers: Gregory Bottley & Co of London. All drawers have removable wood-framed glass tops and each specimen is contained in its own white cardboard box. A most interesting and perhaps educational collection. The cabinet measures: 74cms high; 53cms wide and 37cms deep (29 x 21 x 14.5ins).

Gregory Bottley & Co., were the second-longest gem and mineral dealership in the world. The firm opened in 1858 by James Edward Gregory who traded in London for over 40 years, and in 1931 the dealership landed in the hands of Edward Percival Bottley. Attached is a rather amusing contemporary photograph of James Gregory.
