This is English, made after Chippendale, the sides have gold gilt bronze topped and foot Corinthian pillars, the main body is made from some of the finest cuts of Mahogany I have ever seen, it simply glows in the right lightI could honestly talk for hours about this piece but the best thing to do, is for you to have a good look through all the pictures as they can better convey the wonder than I can articulate in this short description The piece is railed to the top so it can be used as a wardrobe, there is two good sized glove drawers in the top section over three very large base drawersCondition wise, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, it is the best part of 260+ years old, as such it has developed some patina and character over there years such as various small timber losses, the base cover of one of the pillars is missing, really you have to look hard to find the losses and they are all very small, I can have the piece fully restored by my cabinet maker and French polisher should the new owners wish to make it Gallery perfect, I would estimate the work to cost between �700-�1000, the piece would then be museum perfect, it is however, absolutely sublime as it is which is why I have kept it original DimensionsHeight 221cm Width 161cmDepth 57cmPlease note all measurements are taken at the widest pointHeight is 221cm (87.0inches)
