Rare Regency Chinoiserie penwork collectors cabinet on stand; a fine example of penwork furniture with neat proportions; the bow fronted cabinet having a shallow gallery to the top with a border of trailing foliage above the profusely decorated pair of doors with intricate Chinese scenes of figures and pagodas in landscape within a wide border of flowers and foliage. The interior of the doors with fine detailed penwork of Chinese buildings bordered with anthemions on a rare ivory coloured background. The interior having five sliding trays decorated with anthemions to the fronts. Both sides of the cabinet with a spray of flowers and a dragonfly. The cabinet raised on small bun feet so can be used independently from the stand as a table cabinet. The elegant bow fronted stand with a raised lip to secure the cabinet, above the shallow frieze, raised on ''S'' shaped supports, on the concave fronted plinth base.
