A late Victorian fusee dial wall clock. A 12'' painted dial signed ''MILLER BRIGHTON'' with blued steel hands. A mahogany case with a brass bezel surround. An 8-day duration fusee timepiece mechanism. This has a lovely provenance with an original makers label to the side. Circa 1875.
The Miller family of clockmakers are recorded in Loomes ''Watchmakers & Clockmakers of The Worldl'' book as working in Brighton in the late 19th century.
