A fine George III silver fiddle pattern fish slice made by the lady silversmith Elizabeth Morley. Nicely pierced central panel depicting a fish swimming through reeds with very finely engraved details to the face, fins and scales. Further bright cut engraved decoration as various friezes framing the centre, around the edge of the blade and to form a small oblong vacant cartouche. Hallmarked for London 1809.
It measures 29cm (11 3/8'') long and 7cm (2 3/4'') wide and weighs 111g / 3.6ozt.
