A Late 19th Century Ormolu-Mounted

Bombé Cabinet

Constructed from bois satiné, strikingly bookmatched to create a chevron patten, the shaped cabinet supported on scrolled sabot-shod feet, the lower portion with an open shelf; above, the double doors revealing a glass-shelved interior and a lockable drawer fitted with a leather writing surface, the cabinet surmounted by a marble platform.
