Henry Matthews was working in Vittoria Street, Birmingham from 1896-1909 and this clock hallmarks for 1906. The solid silver case in good condition with silver bun feet, C scroll handle, and a very nice ribbon edge design to the border at the front. The dial is in great condition with neat Roman numerals and delicate hands. It was common to a purchase a timepiece like this for your travels abroad, and this example is a particularly attractive one.
