A very fine example of these seldom found, top class carriage clocks.
A gilt brass, corniche style case with bevelled glass throughout that is free from any chips or cracks.
The white enamelled dial has black Arabic numerals and finely cut hands. It is totally free of any chips, cracks or crazing. There is a subsidiary dial for setting the alarm.
The clock strikes on two blued steel coiled gongs. It strikes a ''ting-Tong'' strike on the quarters and the number of hours on the hour.
There is a repeat button to the top of the clock which repeats the previous hour.
There is a STRIKE/SILENT button to the base of the clock to switch off the quarter striking if required.
The 8 day movement has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered horologist and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
Height shown is with the handle down.
A very superior clock.
