Past to Present has dated this piece to the 1920s.
It has glass side panels framed with brass panelling…the glass on the back panel has a small hairline crack …..see photo
It stands on cabriole legs with a heavy carved decoration on the outside of the legs , smaller mounts on the inside with ormolu strips running down to meet carved mounts on its’ feet
The cabinet has been lined with a pink buttoned back cushion with small pearl inserts on the inside.
A very elegant cabinet that could be used to display a collection of medals, watches, jewellery etc and would grace a period or contemporary setting
