Very smart mahogany bow front display cabinet on stand by the celebrated English cabinet makers Shapland & Petter of Barnstable c.1910. Wide flared and moulded cornice with inlaid dentil frieze over a half-moon shaped cabinet with a single door and glazed front with 28 individual glass panels, note the ogee arched tops to the upper panels. Fitted inside with three glass shelves (internal depth 15") and lined in white moire silk. Raised on an a stand with two small cupboards and a single drawer over an arched apron. With inlaid detail to the drawer and door fronts and original brass handles. Square tapering legs with moulded feet and joined with a low stretcher shelf. Stamped S&P, B on the cabinet lock. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
