Art Nouveau Cabinet - Gustave Serrurier Bovy

1900 - 1920
Description

Lovely quality oak Art Nouveau cabinet , very much in the manner of Gustave Serrurier Bovy .

This very decorative cabinet has a moulded cornice over a central bevelled glass cupboard with shelf and bevel edged mirror below , flanked by two cupboard doors, the incised designs with brass inlay and decorative brass strap hinges. The breakfront base has two central drawers and four further cupboards all with the same incised designs and strap hinges , opening to shelved interiors. Working locks and keys.

With normal marks / scuffs and wear commensurate with age and use, overall this lovely cabinet is in good sound condition and really is a great piece of craftmanship.
