Description

Circa 1860. Exhibition quality inlaid kingwood, Victorian, ormolu mounted open corner cupboard. The serpentine-shaped top, with crossbanding and boxwood inlay above a frieze with open foliate ormolu (gilded bronze) mounts. Beneath are three open display or bookshelves, flanked by angled crossbanded corners with full length ormolu mounts. The base has further ormolu mounts over a shaped skirt and small feet with foliate mounts.
