Description

A stunning antique Victorian burr walnut pier cabinet, with a wonderful original colour & lots of character. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

The quality is excellent, this has gorgeous burr walnut grain patterns, a concave top front edge, lovely satin wood inlay and high quality gilt bronze ormolu mounts. The door has a brass grill front with a fabric backing, the interior is also fabric lined with two glass shelves.

We have given this a gentle clean and wax polish, it is in very good overall condition with just the right amount of wear and patina to be expected of a piece this age.
