French Antique Warehouse has dated this piece to the 1900s.
Lavishly decorated with brass and inlaid with brass stringing, it has an exquisite floral inlay along the top and fluted architectural columns at each side. It sits on feet which are decorated with brass at the front. The lock is a wellington cabinet style, with a locking overlapping vertical border on the right, and the key is available. The filing boxes are all removable, made of heavy card with drop down fronts, coloured maroon, with leatherette fronts decorated with gilt bands and brass knobs. This is part of a truly stunning set of furniture, which can be purchased separately or as the complete group of three pieces.

Dating to circa 1900, this is made of mahogany, brass and marble, and originates from France.
In lovely age related condition, this has only the minor faults, including the range of small dents in the brass, that you’d expect in an antique. Each of the box drawers is in good condition.
