Stunning Antique Red Lacquered Chinoiserie Musical Mantel / Bracket Clock.

This stunning Large chinoiserie bracket clock has a beautiful deep red lacquer. The entire case is then shaped from the top to the bottom as features stunning hand painted details including birds, landscapes, people and houses. The clock also features stunning cast beass “lions paw” feet.

It then has a brass dias with a pitted effect centre and silvered chapter ring. The chapter ring is then set out in black Roman numerals and has lovely cherub spandrils to each corner. The dial is then finished by two beautifully shaped fingers as well as a glass set into the door.

The movement then winds from the from and is accessed from the back. It is in full working order and is a musical example striking on each quarter hour. It comes complete with pendulum and winding key and has a strike silent feature to the top of the dial!

It measures approximately:

- 21” / 53.5cm Tall.

- 14” / 35.5cm Wide.

- 10.75” / 27.25cm Deep.
