This 19th Century Victorian Aesthetic Movement Royal Worcester porcelain vase dates from 1892 and takes an urn shape measuring 23.5 cm in height and 12.5 cm in diameter. The body has a cream, blush pink, and peach coloured ground in porcelain finished with gold leaf and enamel. Hand-painted botanical chrysanthemum flowers decorate the surface in shades of purple, yellow, and deep red alongside green foliage, highlighted with gilt. The piece incorporates a pierced crown rim, a moulded crown rim, and a gilded pedestal base. Maker's details include a puce printed factory mark, date code, model number 1268, and a registration number, while condition notes indicate slight wear to the gilt rim with no damage or restoration. Suitable for an English Country House interior setting, this vase works well displayed on a sideboard top to hold floral arrangements or stand alone as a decorative accent. The cream and blush pink porcelain body brings soft colour to a room, while the metallic gold leaf accents on the pedestal base and pierced crown rim add reflective highlights. Its compact proportions fit comfortably onto narrow ledges, side tables, and display cabinets without dominating the surrounding furniture. The traditional botanical motifs and hand-painted chrysanthemum details offer a classic focal point for traditional spaces, bringing historic English craftsmanship into everyday interior presentation.

Late 19th-century Royal Worcester porcelain is frequently recognised by its soft matte glaze, known as blush ivory, complemented by hand-painted botanical motifs and highlighted with burnished liquid gold accenting.

These pieces were produced using soft-paste porcelain or bone china bodies, coated with tinted matte glazes, decorated with hand-applied enamel paint, and finished with gold leaf gilding.

Authenticity is verified via the standard Royal Worcester printed factory mark on the base, which features a system of dots and letter codes underneath to indicate the precise year of manufacture.

Position the vessel on a mantelpiece or sideboard against a neutral or dark backdrop to emphasize the muted ivory body and intricate botanical brushwork.

Dust gently using a dry microfibre cloth or a soft-bristled brush, avoiding liquid immersion or abrasive chemical cleansers that can strip delicate gilding and enamel decoration.
