Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

A tazza is an elevated pedestal plate or bowl historically used for serving fruits, sweetmeats, or as a decorative centrepiece, gaining popularity in British households during the Victorian and Art Deco eras.

Artisans manufactured pieces using soda-lime or lead glass, incorporating metallic oxides into the molten batch to achieve distinct colours like turquoise or blue, often shaping the vessels using moulds or free-blown techniques.

Authentic pieces often feature pontil marks on the base, characteristic mould seams from period production methods, and subtle weight variations typical of early twentieth-century manufacturing.

Position the piece on a sideboard, dining table, or open shelving to catch natural light, either displayed empty as a sculptural object or utilised to hold seasonal fruit and decorative items.

Wash the item gently by hand using lukewarm water and mild, non-abrasive detergent, avoiding harsh chemicals, extreme temperature changes, and dishwasher cycles to protect the delicate surface finish.
