A rummer is a large, heavy-stemmed drinking glass popular in Britain during the 18th and 19th centuries, traditionally used for serving rum, ale, or wine.

These vessels were typically hand-blown from lead glass and often feature hand-cut, fluted, or polished details crafted by skilled glass artisans.

Authentic pieces often exhibit pontil marks on the base, minor surface wear consistent with age, and the characteristic heavy weight and high refractive index of period lead glass.

Historic glassware can be displayed on open shelving, used as a functional vessel on a dining table, or arranged as a focal point on a sideboard to add historical texture to a modern room.

Wash antique glass gently by hand using lukewarm water and mild detergent, avoiding harsh scrubbing, abrasive materials, or sudden temperature changes.
