Marylebone Antiques has dated these French Inlaid Walnut Bedside Cabinets to the 1870s.
They are beautifully made from walnut, with stunning grain patterns throughout. There is fine banding around the drawer fronts, there is also beautiful inlaid floral marquetry on the door fronts. They have beautiful rouge marble tops which are fixed in place, there are also extremely high quality ormolu mounts on the doors and upper corners. The interiors are also nicely fitted out, in one cabinet there is a tambour fronted section with a porcelain lined interior.
We have had these recently re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb.
