We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian glassware often reflects a transition from the heavy ornamentation of the Victorian era towards lighter, neoclassical motifs such as the Greek key pattern, garland ribbons, and delicate floral etchings.

These pieces were typically crafted from lead crystal or flint glass, shaped using traditional blown glass techniques and hand-etched or wheel-engraved by skilled artisans.

Authentic pieces generally exhibit minor surface imperfections, pontil marks on the base, hand-cut or acid-etched detailing rather than uniform machine printing, and a distinctive ringing tone when gently tapped.

They can be displayed on a bar cart, styled inside a glazed display cabinet, or used functionally during celebratory gatherings to add a touch of historical elegance to contemporary table settings.

Antique crystal should always be washed by hand in lukewarm water using mild detergent, avoiding sudden temperature changes, and dried immediately with a lint-free cloth to prevent water spots.
