Charming 19th Century Cast Metal & Black Slate Mantel Clock with Chinese Influence to its Inverted Square Baluster Form Flanked by 2 Spelter Putti Musicians. The Black Dial with Gold Roman Numerals, Hands & Bezel. The Case Surmounted by a Pineapple Finial. ( Due to Their High Cost & Rarity Pineapples were Associated with Wealth). The Base Raised on Bevelled Slate Plinth & Metal Disc Feet.

Approx Height 13.75in or 35cm

The Japy 8 Day French Movement Strikes the Number of Hours on the O’clock on a Crisp Clear Bell. Stamped BR. Checked & Tested to be in Good & Full Antique Working Order. Case: Good Quality with Only Minor Wear Commensurate with Its Age.
