Swiss Eight Day Carriage Clock with Alarm in Original Leather Case.

1900 - 1920
Description

A good Swiss carriage clock with alarm, striking on a bell, made around 1900.

With brass casing and bevelled glass; visible platform escapement; enamel dial marked "Genève" with hand painted Roman numerals and subsidiary alarm dial.

With the original leather travelling case and a key.

Backplate adjustment arbours are stamped "Aiguilles" (Hands) and "Aig le Reveil" (Alarm Hand), numbered 1790.

13cm high, excluding handle.

A very attractive and good sized piece in excellent condition. The clock has been stripped, cleaned and lightly lubricated. It runs well and keeps good time.

We can deliver free of charge on the UK mainland and will determine the cost of overseas delivery.
