1880-1900 Pair Heavy Pricket/candlesticks

Description

Circa 1880-1900 a pair of heavy and well made pricket sticks in good condition. They are thought to be more of a bronze mix than brass from the muted colouring, and each one weighs 2.1 kgs.

They measure 41cm in height, the width across the feet is approximately 15cm, and the large candle cups are 13cm in diameter.

The candlesticks have a solid plate under the base of the columns (see photo 5) showing the quality of the casting and manufacture.
