N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this Antique Silver Zappler Clock to the 19th Century.
This stunning antique zappler clock has an 800 Hungarian silver and gilt case.
The clock then has an array of scrolling patterns and designs which are truly intricate with new things being found each time it is seen! The clock itself then sits on a shaped and engraved base which has four maidens head feet. The case finally features a selection of semi precious stones including both turquoise and garnets as well as having an enamel finish in areas.

The dial is then incorporated into the case. It is set out in Roman numerals with a thin ring to the outside marking the minutes. The dial is then finished by two intricately shaped hands.
The movement is then both wound and accessed from the back. Like all zappler clocks it features a beautiful front ticking pendulum and comes complete with its winding key. The clock ticks away and works as it should.

One of the best examples of a zappler clock that i have ever seen. It is also hallmarked to the base as shown in the photo’s.
It measures approximately:
7” / 17.75cm Tall.
5” / 12.75cm Wide.
