A beautiful antique portico clock this ebonised case is inlaid with brass and coloured enamel foliate designs and has four barley twist columns adorning the case with boulle inlay to the base and pediment. The four inch enamel dial is in excellent condition with original hands and pendulum and the eight day countwheel strike movement strikes the full hour at the hour and a single strike at the half on a lovely original bell. The movement is inscribed '' Raison & Thomas'' which dates the clock circa 1890. The movement has been lovingly restored and comes with my standard two year guarantee.
Clockwise specialises in longcase and bracket clocks and with clients from the world of business, film, sport, royalty and aristocracy - yet more than happy with traditional clients - Clockwise has an unrivalled reputation for excellence and superb service.
