A good quality French mid 19th Century gorge case carriage clock having a gilt brass faceted case, with thick bevel edge glass panels. It has a white enamel dial with an alarm dial below the main dial . The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a pretty sounding bell and has an hour repeat button. The clock a lever platform. The clock comes with a period double ended carriage clock key and full instructions.
