An interesting early maker, born 1649, married 1680, working until the 1720s. Only two or three clocks are known by this, one of the earliest, Surrey makers.
The clock has an original verge escapement, the movement has been converted to chain drive and the doors are later replacements, which is quite normal for a clock of its type.
Serviced and guaranteed for 3 years.
CIRCA. 1685
Provenance: Private collection - U.K.
