This early 1950s Mid-Century Modern desk clock originates from the Kienzle manufacturer and follows a design first conceived by Heinrich Moeller in 1938. The piece consists of a circular brass-cased clock mounted on a stepped rectangular pedestal base with turned vertical supports. The exterior finish combines a polished brass metal housing with a cream-coloured dial face decorated with a gold-tone printed world map and applied brass Roman numeral markers.
