This impressive vase showcases traditional cloisonné craftsmanship with detailed wire-work and rich enamel colors throughout. The central panels of elaborately detailed with four Chinese Scholars in traditional costume bordered by geometric and floral patterns and teaching within the clouds of wisdom. A

substantial decorative piece and striking example of traditional Chinese decorative arts and cloisonné craftsmanship.
Condition: Excellent original condition. Superbly detailed with elaborate and vivid coloured enamels. No restoration.

The last image shows a four-character imperial-style reign mark that reads "Qianlong Nian Zhi", meaning "Made during the Qianlong reign" (1736–1795) of the Qing Dynasty. Authenticity Note: While genuine four-character red enamel marks appear on 18th-century imperial painted enamels and porcelains, similar marks were also widely copied or used as apocryphal (tribute/reverence) 'psuedo' marks during later eras. Notably this vase dates to Circa 1900.
