A Highly Decorative Pair of Large Scale Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Vases

A striking and highly decorative pair of large-scale Chinese cloisonné enamel vases, circa 1930.

Of unusually substantial size and richly ornamented, the vases are decorated in a vibrant palette against a deep red ground. The elaborate designs incorporate numerous colourful flowers, auspicious bats, fish and large character marks, all arranged amongst scrolling floral motifs.

The decoration is further enhanced by ornamental borders, gilt-brass bands and gilt-brass rims, creating a particularly bright and opulent appearance.

A lovely and unusual pair, retaining their vivid colouring and decorative appeal. They are in very good condition, commensurate with age.
