This Regency porcelain spill vase from the nineteenth century displays a rich cobalt blue enamel finish enriched with elaborate gold leaf foliage scrollwork and gilt borders. The cylindrical body includes a flared rim, a pedestal base, and a central white oval reserve medallion hand-painted with a colourful floral bouquet featuring pink, yellow, orange, and purple blooms. Visible signs of age comprise a little loss of gilt at the top rim and a very fine star crack, alongside bright white highlights and glossy reflections on the glazed surfaces.
