N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this Ebonised Lenzkirch Mantel Clock to the 19th Century.
This beautiful antique mantel clock has an ebonised case with a lovely colour. The top of the case is then shaped with a lovely turned finial. The front of the case then has beautiful raised shapes which creates a stunning effect. The bottom is then finished by a moulding and four feet.
The dial is then round, silvered and set out in black roman numerals. The dial then has a lovely pattern to the centre. The dial is then finished by two lovely shaped hands and a protective glass set into a brass bezel.
The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It ticks away as it should and comes complete with its pendulum and winding key.
It measures approximately:
19.5” / 49.5cm Tall.
10.5” / 26.5cm Wide.
6.75” / 17.25cm Deep.
