A rare and elegant mid-19th-century emerald green wine glass dating to c1850.

It has a pointed round funnel bowl supported by an angular shoulder knop above a plain stem, raised on a conical foot with a polished pontil.

From our own records of over 200 mid 19th century green coloured wine glasses, this is the only example we have encountered with a pointed round funnel bowl combined with an angular shoulder support knop.

Excellent. No chips, cracks, or restoration.
